Rising from the ashes of The Happy Mondays, Black Grape formed by Madchester duo Shaun Ryder and Bez first hit the airwaves in 1993 with their revered _Its Great When You_re Straight Yeah_ The album, debuting at number 1 in the UK album charts. The band went on to release 'Stupid Stupid Stupid' in 1996, before splitting in 1997. After much public demand, Black Grape reunited for a sell out tour in 2010, before once again disappearing into the annuls of pop history.
