Blur posters for the English rock band formed in London in 1988, comprising singer Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree.
Blur's posters include ThinkTank and Good Song reflecting the sounds of Madchester and shoegazing. Influenced by English guitar groups such as the Kinks, the Beatles and XTC, Blur released Modern Life Is Rubbish (1993), Parklife (1994) and The Great Escape (1995). As a result, the band helped to popularise the genre of Britpop and achieved mass popularity in the UK, helped partly by a 'battle' with rival band Oasis in 1995 dubbed "The Battle of Britpop".
In 2013 Noel Gallagher, Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon and Paul Weller played "Tender" (Blur song) in support of Teenage Cancer Trust. In 2017, Damon Albarn with Gorillaz played We Got The Power / LIVE with Noel Gallagher & Jehnny Beth on The Graham Norton Show, saying "they had made up now".
All of our Blur posters are 100% original or first-generation reprints and exclusive to The Original Poster Shop.
