Original Ocean Colour Scene posters for the English Britpop band formed in Moseley, Birmingham in 1989 after two other local bands called The Boys and Fanatics disbanded. OCS initially signed to Phfftt Records in 1990 but after supporting Oasis on their 1995 tour, the band signed with MCA Records and released the album 'Moseley Shoals'. This reached No. 2 in the UK Albums Chart and produced 4 hit singles, firmly establishing OCS a place in the Britpop scene.
