Released as Ashcroft’s first studio album ’Alone with Everybody’ released via Hut Records in June 2000 includes hit singles such as ’A Song for the Lovers’, ‘Money to Burn’ and ‘C’mon People (We’re making it know)’.
Alone With Everybody also refers to a pop folk band from France, named after the album.
On its release, there was positive critical response to Alone with Everybody with NME concluding its review saying that 'Ashcroft's newly discovered stability has done nothing to blunt his powers of communication or reduce his belief in the apocalyptic potential of music'.
