The Cribs originate from Wakefield, West Yorkshire consisting of 3 brothers: Gary, Ryan and Ross Jarman with the help of guitar legend Johnny Marr. The band first became active on the concert circuit in 2002 and were initially linked to other like-minded bands of that time, most notably The Libertines. The Cribs have released 6 studio albums from 2001 to 2014. In 2008, Q magazine described the band as "The biggest cult band in the UK" and as of 2015, their last 3 albums have charted in the UK Top 10.
