The Datsuns poster - The Datsuns
After featuring several times on John Peel's BBC Radio 1 show in the UK where up and coming bands were debuted by John that he thought had potential and also being hailed as "the future of rock" by the British music press, the Datsuns signed with the V2 label. Their self-titled debut album made a strong impression in the UK, as well as in Australia and New Zealand. The band toured Australia in 2002 with Melbourne band The Specimens and The Casanovas as well as playing a live to air on PBS radio.
This iconic promo poster from 2002 is 100% original and was used to promote the album in record shops. The few remaining posters that were never used have been kept in storage since 2002, only now released for sale.
