Beta Band posters - Heroes to Zeros
Original ‘The Beta Band’ poster for the release of ‘Heroes to Zeros’
‘The Beta Band’ formed in ’96 by Steve Mason and Gordon Anderson, after nearly calling the band ‘The Pigeons’. Not long after they were signed to Regal/Parlophone,
Anderson became ill and decided to quit the band, later recording as a solo artist under the name ‘Lone Pigeon’.
Famed producer Nigel Godrich was called in to mix the Heroes to Zeros album, which was completed in early 2004. The lead single,
"Assessment", featured in the video below was released on 12 April 2004, followed by the album itself on 26 April 2004. One of the tracks, "Liquid
Bird" is based on a sample of "Painted Bird" by Siouxsie and the Banshees. A second single, "Out-Side", followed in July. The band announced their
breakup on their website on 2 August 2004. In November of that year, they performed at the Summer Sundae festival and commenced a farewell tour. The
Beat Band's final show was at Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms on 5 December 2004.

FAQs
Are Your Posters Original?
Yes — all of our posters are 100% original promotional prints from their respective release periods. Many date back to the 1990s and early 2000s, with some still preserved in their original paper wrapping.
Are Your Posters Reprints?
No — our posters are original prints produced during the 1990s and early 2000s using the traditional offset printing method, known for its bold colours and consistent quality.
Modern reprints are typically digitally printed, which can vary in colour and finish. Under magnification, offset printing reveals a distinctive rosette-style dot pattern, while digital prints appear more random.
Please note: we do stock a small selection of 1st generation reprints, which are always clearly labelled within the listing description.Storage & Care
All of our posters are stored in a clean, dry, and dust-free environment. Many are kept laid flat for preservation, while others remain carefully stored in their original rolls - ready for a new home.
