Created by Damon Albarn, frontman for the hugely popular Britpop legends Blur, Gorillaz is a virtual band of cartoon characters, with musical contributions from Albarn and other artists.

Gorillaz self-titled first album was a huge success achieving sales of over 7 million copies and ensuring a Guinness World Record for the most successful virtual band. The second album 'Demon Days' was ever more successful earning acclaim both in sides of the Atlantic. Fans are awaiting a much anticipated third album, which looks to be in production in 2015.
