An original litho-printed Oasis poster and free car sticker for the legendary 1996 Knebworth concert. This poster comes FOLDED ( its original format), not rolled, however if you would prefer it rolled and sent in a tube, then please add a "note" request, or e-mail. We have a limited stock of these popular posters.
This is an original litho-printed concert poster as used at the time of the promotion and extremely rare and collectable. At 60" x 40", this huge poster comes folded as it was originally sent out with tickets and is now exclusive to The Original Poster Shop and sourced directly from the poster contractors who were commissioned by the record company to distribute these back in 1996.
On the 10th August 1996, Oasis played the then fastest-selling ticket in concert history at Knebworth Park, known as the defining weekend in Britpop.
Their career reached its peak at Knebworth where they performed to 250,000 people every night. They broke the record for outdoor concerts and to this day, it remains the largest show in demand in British history. It is alleged that 1 in every 20 people in UK applied for tickets. The brothers Gallagher where supported by The Charlatans, Kula Shaker, Manic Street Preachers, The Bootleg Beatles, The Chemical Brothers, Ocean Color Scene and The Prodigy.
In addition, only recently unearthed amongst our original Oasis stock, a limited amount of original Oasis Knebworth car window stickers are given free with this order. They are reverse printed,and in pristine condition considering they are 25+ years old!
