Blockheads poster - Jazz Café - Original

Poster for the Blockheads originally formed with lead singer Ian Dury in 1977, and following a string of hits in the 80's/90's they became one of the UK's most popular groups.

Their last performance was in Feb 2000 at the London Palladium, Dury died a month later. The band continued to play occasional gigs, in smaller venues under "The Blockheads" name with Chaz Jankel, Norman Watt-Roy and Charlie Charles plus Mick Gallagher and John Turnbull as the band.
