Oasis poster - Songbird single - Original

An original promo poster for Oasis "Songbird" single taken from their fifth studio album, Heathen Chemistry.

It was the first single by Oasis written by vocalist Liam Gallagher. Released in Feb 2003 it reached No 3 in the UK charts and Top ten in many European countries. When asked to reflect on the single Liam said "...it's not all dark in my world, I take my shades off every now and then and have a look at the world and see some nice things (a tribute to his fiancee Nicole Appleton).

In an interview with his brother Noel he called it "a perfect little song", however, he later rated Heathen Chemistry as his least favourite Oasis album.
