Iggy Pop poster - Nude and Rude. Original
Original Iggy Pop poster for Nude and Rude
Basing his stage persona upon Jim Morrison whom he watched perform during his teenage years, Iggy Pop took America by storm in the late 1960s with his extreme and unpredictable onstage antics and juggernaut punk vocals. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Iggy has stood the test of time, and despite recurring drug and personal issues, still amazingly continues to perform and headline major festivals with The Stooges.
This extremely rare and iconic poster dating back to 1995 when it was printed to promote the best of album 'Nude and Rude' is one of a small quantity that we stock.
In the Trainspotting movie, the classic opening sequence, in which Renton and Spud tear down Princes Street, is perfectly accompanied by the title track from Iggy Pop’s 1977 album, Lust for Life.
