Original litho printed Eagles poster for legendary Earls Court Concert
Despite disbanding for 14 years in 1980, the bands remained ever popular, and were welcomed with huge anticipation and rapturous reviews by media and fans. Since their 1994 reunion, they have continued to tour, and are guaranteed to sell out huge arenas wherever they play in the world.
Hotel California is a title track from the album of the same name and released in February 1977 as a single. The Eagles' original recording features Don Henley singing the lead and ends with an extended electric guitar sequence between Felder and Joe Walsh considered the most famous recording of the band, and this long guitar sequence has been voted the best guitar solo of all time.
The song was awarded the Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 1978.
This extremely rare poster is an original 'Adshel' poster as used in bus shelters and airport concourses, produced to promote the Earls Court concert in 2001.
