Can't Stop is from the Red Hot Chili Peppers 2002 album, By the Way and was the third single released from the album.
Can't Stop is one of the few tracks on By the Way to revisit the original Chilis' method of short, rapped verses. "Can't Stop" is unique, in that it contains melodic and layered guitar and lyrical progressions, which the RHCP earlier work did not.
The song was the Chili Peppers' 8th number one on Billboard Modern Rock Tracks, spending three weeks at the top. The song performed well on various other charts worldwide, as well as Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts and it was also the band's only number 1 single not to be included on their 2003 Greatest Hits album.
